The concept is simple - Black Radish takes care of everything and allows you to simply sit back and enjoy the fruits of our labor! All personal chef service prices will include:
- A client interview to determine your food preferences and dietary needs
- Personalized recipe research and menu development
- Same-day grocery shopping to procure the freshest ingredients
- Travel to your home on the agreed-upon cook date
- Food preparation using my mobile kitchen equipment
- Packaging, labeling, and storing
- Kitchen clean-up
Pricing Guide
Black Radish offers meal service for singles, couples and families starting as low as $200*. Each package is customized for the client, and specific pricing will be based on client’s needs and the frequency of their service. Below is just a small sample of the packages available :

Standard Packages
Serves a family of 4 for a week; a single person for 1 month; or a couple for 2 weeks.
5 x 4 Package
5 entrees, four portions each = 20 servings
Our most popular package provides the best value for your money.
Serves a single person 8 meals; or a couple for 4 days.
4 entrees, two portions each = 8 servings
This meal plan was designed for those who prefer fresh service on a more frequent basis or for those who want to try Black Radish at a minimal cost.
Serves a family of 4 for a week; a single person for 1 month; or a couple for 2 weeks.
3 x 4 Family Package3 entrees, 4 portions each = 12 servings
I created this plan for busy families who need a break from cooking now and then. These meals are always packaged "family style".

Additional Fees
Groceries
Grocery costs are in addition to the chef's fee. Organic or non-organic groceries are at the client's discretion and can be determined during the client interview process.
Special Diet Fee
Specialized diets require a recipe and menu development fee of $40/per session. This fee is designed for more complex diet research such as The Zone©, Vegan, South Beach©, and Atkins©. (Low-fat, Low-salt, and vegetarian diets are a normal part of our service and require no additional fees.)
Container Cost
Disposable containers are purchased for your initial use. However, glass pyrex containers are suggested for long-term clients, as they are more environmentally friendly, and actually are less expensive in the long run.
Payment
In order to hold your cook date, Black Radish requires that your payment is made in full at the time your cook date is booked.

Salads
You choose from any salad imaginable, or let us make something special for you - leafy green salads with homemade dressing, fresh fruit salads, savory vegetable salads or pasta salads all created using the best ingredients available. Each salad makes 4-6 servings, and is priced at $25.00 plus the cost of groceries.
Desserts
With professional experience in baking and pastry work, Chef Mader has a gift for creating tempting and delicious desserts. Let the chef craft a holiday treat or special dessert perfect for your occasion. Each dessert is priced individually.
Gift certificates
Gift certificates are also available for any of the packages listed above, or Black Radish can create a custom gift specific to your needs. These are just a few examples of how to make the gift of food as special as the person you’re giving the gift to!
